1. Introduction

Welcome to Sheffield Home Fix Engineering Pte Ltd ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Scope of Services

We provide home repair, renovation, and interior design services, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, roof leak repairs, tiling, painting, kitchen cabinetry, and commercial renovations (e.g., childcare centers and clinics). The specific scope of work will be outlined in the service agreement or quotation provided before project commencement.

3. Payment Terms

A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before work begins.
The remaining balance must be paid upon project completion or as per the agreed payment schedule.
Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 2% per month.
All payments should be made via bank transfer, cheque, or other agreed methods.

4. Project Timeline

The start and completion dates will be specified in the service agreement.
Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions or supply chain issues) will be communicated promptly.
Any changes to the timeline must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

Providing access to the property during scheduled work hours.
Ensuring that all personal belongings are removed from work areas.
Obtaining necessary permissions from property owners (if applicable).

6. Changes to Scope of Work

Any additional work or changes requested by the client that fall outside the agreed scope will require a written change order. Additional costs and timeline adjustments will apply.

7. Warranties

We provide a 6-month warranty on workmanship for repairs and renovations. This warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external factors (e.g., natural disasters).
Materials supplied by the client.

8. Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.
Clients agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from their failure to fulfill their responsibilities under these Terms.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the contract with written notice if:

The other party breaches a material term of the agreement.
Work is halted due to unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control.

In case of termination:

Clients will be charged for work completed up to the termination date.
Deposits may be forfeited if termination is initiated by the client without valid cause.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in Singapore courts.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes before they take effect.
